the thinking person buys a 4x4?

adverts again. this time the kia sportage. why when the media is full of stories of "hate 4x4" and the local streets get plastered with flyposted "no 4x4" signs on lamposts near hypermarkets and schools, do they advertise a 4x4, being chased by an angry mob?
the "thinking man" would see the "thinking mans 4x4" and think, no thanks.
