another daft advert

ok i admit, this one plays a clever con.
vodafone, pointing out their new call charges mean you can spend longer on the phone than most people want to, shows people trying to finish calls asap.
now thats quite normal, at the high costs of the phonecalls (i know lots of reasons for the high charges such as interconnect kickbacks and the frontending of the handset cost) people do often try to keep the calls brief.
to highlight it they use "interesting" and "funny" situations where a few seconds really isnt enough time on the phone, eg bungie rope breaking, problems at customs, dad selling mum for 2 camels and telling daughter.
thing is, the person receiving the call is the one stopping it. which is the wrong way round. you dont pay for calls being received in the uk from anywhere, and thats what it was showing. so its actually not a realistic situation on the advert.
it looks a good advert but with in seconds you see, what they are suggesting is not relevant to the new vodafone deal they are promoting!

so whats the point of advertising something you are not giving! thats fraud.
