why do airlines still have "girl" adverts?

cnn runs an advert for Ethiopian airways. crumbs, i must admit i thought they would be concentrating on food than flying. still. there is the advert, where do they fly?

no idea. but i can see they have only women stewardesses serving lots of food to their passengers.

not everyone flying books by their dick, in fact it tends to be centralised purchasing and a team of women in administration there who do the buying. so who is it aimed at?

im more interested in the age of the fleet and where they go than the sex of the stewardess who i am likely to be asleep as they pass.
