how senior managers spend their days

ok first...
open power point!!
order out, get a big latte with 2 extra shots. and one of those hard long biccies...
ok, close power point, we need space, we need thinking room, book a meeting room.
wipe the white board clean.
you need the red and blue markers and of course the black. green keep for 2ndary thinking.
ok. middle of the board, in black, write "US"
stand back, look at it. hold chin, ponder. good? bad?
well we are good so circle it with the BLUE PEN we are GOOD
but we are bad too,. so circle the circle with the RED PEN.
now whats good?
with the blue pen, on the right, side note down some points.
now whats bad?
with the red pen, on the left note down so points...
if you think of any you missed just add them witht he corrct pen on the correct side.
circle the points and link them back to the "us" in the middle.
ok.
now, any points that are related? link them with the green pen.
sorry, what was the question again?

will china take every job we have?

when you look at taiwan and korea, you can plot a graph showing when their costs rose to ours and it no longer became viable to move jobs there. that line is a long way off with india but when you look at china, you can see that they have the capacity to take every single job we have and still be far cheaper.

are we doomed?

actually on the subject of football : henry £110k a week?

henry said the other day he would love to stay with arsenal until he retires.
he then said that all the club had to do was show they were serious.

seems by serious he means they have to pay him £110,000 a week according to one paper.

have a laugh!

football has gone out of control

yes, i fully understand, if the club is making so much money, on the back of the players, then the players should get a fair cut of it.
but the only reason the club has revenues of so much money is they can make their customers pay £30 a ticket, and they can make sky pay hundreds of millions for the tv rights. those tv rights often a loss leader so as to have content on the channels.

so with it all being a "loss" to everyone but the players its a crazy circle of madness.

of course we cant stop as if we do, italy and spain, where clubs are effectively financed by the local authorities and thus the tax payers will pay the mad wages and the premeirship will lose out.

there has to be a fifa ruling. but then that isnt fair.

therefore football is doomed for a bad pop.

who the hell thinks celtic should be in the english leagues?

watching them, with keane, getting stuffed 2-0 by half time has made me laugh.
even if they go on to win, this isnt a standard worth of english football.
its rubbish

dont be a customer too long

im getting really sick of "offers" for new customers by orange and ntl that do not apply to me.

i have been a customer of orange since their first year. which seems to mean i can be taken as a complete mug. there are no discounts, no bonuses, no loyalty.. just a nasty rate

and ntl really knows how to take the pee. not only with a discount for each of its services but now a huge discount if you take all. because i have for nearly a decade taken all i get nothing other than the full price to pay, and an old stb to use too...

it seems the only way to get anything these days is to change supplier every 12 months.

surely churn rates must be worth bringing down for these guys?
or do us suckers pay so much they dont matter?
