i think we have a crap tv show aimed at the traillertrash.

i dont trust norton / symantec at all

their "test your computer" service (via the old sos website that they took over) told me my computer was open on port 80... but shields up and the antihacker websites say that is not true.

therefore i conclude they are lying to sell their software for no reason.

my Nokia N80 is the worst phone i have ever had

let me explain it is not the worst featured. in fact its the best.

but it just does not work

the camera is pants in virtually any real world use, it suffers badly from any moving at all when snapping, and the flash is a waste of time.

but the worst thing, is the phone just doesnt do the basics. in the last 2 weeks it has reset, not only turning off and rebooting but also blanking the "called" lists. thats if you managed to make a call, as it frequently drops calls making them a pain.
and it is not a phone for texters... if the sms is more than 160 chr$ it slows down greatly when typing, and with no buffer you get out of place and need to go back. the screen actually slides off one side meaning letters are no longer seen at the end of the previous line, and then it just doesnt send the message. an icon tells you you have a message in your out box but even when you tell it to try again it fails to go (all day, even if you send new messages)

dont buy that nokia, and perhaps dont buy any of the n series phones because there are bad things being sad about all of them it seems

ie7 means outlook express needs a tweak

well i downloaded ie7 today - lets face it they will push it on us anyway next month so i just did it now!

it looks ok, i liked ie6, and so the thinner looks are not that appealing to me, however nor are they unappealing.

its just an ok product.

sadly there wasnt an update to outlook express, and thats a pity as the two sit so nicely together it could do with a new face to match

does ford think about its styling or just not give a crap?

it looks like a well designed package, yet ford are so penny pinching that for £75 they will put side stipes on it where on one side of the car the st logo sits infront of the rear wheels, and on the other behind the front wheels.

ie they only have 1 stripe logo with the st on the right, and apply it to both sides of the car.


what a completely stupid and cheap design that is.


ford your company is in freefall because you just make crap finishing points.


i mean, why does the car get a radio that is completely out of date, or a sat nav that is 3x the after fit price and 1/4 as uesful? these things could easily be "continually updated" if you cared.

is the nokia N80 or (orange 3G) their worst ever?

my nokia N80 is forever dropping calls in areas where there was a full strong signal for my old 6230.
it is just a really awful phone, or network.

it will leave "answer phone" icons on the screen when there are none, it will fail to ring when someone tries to call etc etc.

i wish i hadnt signed up for 18 months now

good to see prescott and blair have resigned (all be it without a firm date which means perhaps never)

but the longer prescott can stick out his 6 figure slimey no job title the more annoying it is.

orange finally gave me their phone... and what a crap service they have

orange finally gave me a Nokia N80 a few months ago.
and its like 1997 all over again.

3g calls are dropped more often than a cricket match played with a greased ball. does it automatically switch to the gsm network? no! in places where there should be a strong signal (central london) there is often nothing.

orange is french and rubbish. what an unusual combo !
